upset and angry

Yeah i do think she would of handled them rough. . They are 5 weeks old really getting on well after been orphaned last week. God i am so mad x

Dont blame yourself or her, Im sure she didnt fully understand what she was doing (whatever it was.)
The important thing now is the kits, how are they?
Loads of vibes theyre not seriously injured xxxxx

They are cuddled at the moment keeping my eyes on them. . Before i go to bed i am going to get them out and see if they hate improved x

At least they seem much better. Hopefully they will be over the trauma soon and no harm done? We all learn from our mistakes - please dont beat yourself up about it - it was an accident.

Hope they improve and are 100% soon.

If it's any consolation, i left my 3 year old with my newborn once - just for a split second - when i came back into the room, the 3 year old was dragging newborn around the room like a rag doll :oops:

If you think the Kits are actually injured then they MUST BE SEEN BY A VET TONIGHT. If you thought that your Daughter might be hurt you would take her straight to Hospital and it should be no different for the kits who's welfare is are just as much your responsibility.

They are probably absolutely terrified so I would put them back in their cage/hutch and cover it over so that they are in a dark quiet and familiar environment.

Please don't beat yourself or Eva up about it, she is very young and probably doesn't understand what she has done. When I was that age I thought I could treat animals like I could soft toys, including one time when I picked the cat up by the tail :oops:

I hope the kits are ok

To jane. They have been back in the cage for over an hour! Yes i would take my daughter to the doctors. I have rang emergency they want 100 to look at them! I am sorry but you seem to judge me quite a lot how i look after my rabbits! Are you not the one with poorly rabbits all the time in small enclosures.you leave yours to suffer!

I didn't want to say this but your the one with poorly rabbits all the time

Don't be so :censored: rude about someone who looks after her rabbits so well! You don't know much about Jane if you make that kind of comment!!!

And thank you to all of you for your supporting words. . They will be going to vets first thing! Even thou we have no money husband is in hospital tom for an hernia op.

How could you say this? It's so unfair to judge somebody who has spent lots of time and money looking after her bunnies.

One: Jane is an incredible rabbit owner and what you just said is rubbish. Jane sacrifices everything to care for her rabbits and her love for them is endless.
Two: The kits will probably need to see a vet if you think they are injured, if you are certain they are just scared, that is your choice... but I'm sure you want the best for them:)

I hope they are 100% fine, and don't be too hard on your little girl, I'm sure she didn't mean it.

I don't agree with this at all. Jane takes very good care of her rabbits, and was only trying to help and give you good advice. You should apologise to her, that is out of order...

That is a grossly unfair remark. Although I suspect that you must be pretty shaken up by what's happened so I understand you must be upset. I think Jane is concerned that the kits may have broken bones, perhaps broken backs or legs if they are dragging their legs or struggling to walk - if so, they would be in horrendous agony and may require immediate pain relief if nothing else.

Well am sorry. I look after mine too and i am sick of been judged on here. And i am not the only one who as said that they are some nasty people on here! Some lovely. I like to come for advice not to be judged.

She didn't say you don't look after them or judge you:(

What is wrong with RU at the moment?!

ETA: having a poorly rabbit does not make you a bad owner. rabbits can be poorly for a myriad of reasons...

ZoeLou, nobody (as far as I can tell on this thread) was judging you! Mistakes happen, the best thing to do is make sure the buns are ok. That is all that matters

Sorry but this is bang out of order.

Some members on here have elderly or poorly rabbits because they take them on when other people give up on them. I have poorly rabbits too because I rescue them in that state. Just because Jane has poorly buns, this is not because of her poor care - she is the first person seeking veterinary assistance regardless of cost!

Your kits need to be seen by a vet as soon as possible.

So Do i like i said! I have been judged my her on here. . Its about time i opened my mouth! I am not the first person to say this either!

i might be wrong but does jane not take on mostly sick rabbits? :?
i find it a bit harsh how you could leave your daughter to go to bed and not look at her! how would you feel if something happened during the night and you were bad friends with her. shes only 4......:?
