upset and angry

I've noticed that many people come to RU looking for advice, but when they don't get told what they want to hear they end up offended. People here really do care about bunnies which is why they will often advise an owner to do something painful/expensive/labour-intensive not to be mean, but to help the buns in question. If Jane's post was strongly worded it's because what you have described sounds like an urgent situation. :)

Took so long to post, you'd already posted what I tried to say but you put it so much better. :thumb:

ZoeLou, you are obviously distressed and upset. Please keep an eye on the furries (i know you will) and please keep us posted. xx

I am annoyed that whenever its happy news certain people don't have anything to say at all but soon as a rabbit is hurt or some thing people are quick to judge x

That can be understandable but remember this is a busy forum, sometimes people have to prioritise and helping ill rabbits may be a better use of their time than lots of 'cute bunnies' 'rip' 'vibe' kind of posts. I'm not saying those aren't an asset to the forum, they are, but when you are short on time there is only so much you can post.

Whos judged you? Certanly not Jane, you asked for advice she gave it so you came back with a personal attack! :(

Can you identify where you feel judged? Maybe that might help with the communication lines.

Have they been to the vets now?

I didn't send her to bed with bad words. . I meant i could not look at her first off. . Why is it when i have some thing nice to say about my kits or rabbits no one hardly says anything. Especially Jane

Did you read my post?!

I am shocked and saddened  If I had posted the first thread as you did (well any thread concerning a rabbits health) I would be praying that certain people would be online and that they would reply to help - Jane is one of these people and as far as I can see she has offered you advice which is what you wanted..

All that aside I really hope the kits are ok and no serious damage has been done but again no-one can tell you what has happened apart from a vet.

Good Luck

I will repeat again, please stop the sniping at each other. Either discuss the rabbit situation or do not post.

Probably because Jane is busy giving helpful advice to people who need it

What an odd thing to say  It's almost like you are monitoring how Jane posts! As someone has already said, people often have to prioritise (myself included) as there isn't time to reply to everything but where we think we can help or be of assistance we try and make the effort. That's all Jane did.

I think what you have to remember is that communication on a forum such as this is severely limited because we only have text to communicate, not body language, tone of voice, volume, or anything else we use in every day life. People reacted to what you said, so the communication fell down you end by you not explaining what you meant, and by people therefore making a misinterpretation and inaccurate presumptions.

That can easily happen when someone is distressed and panicky.

That all said, that assumption was nothing to do with what Jane said and her excellent advice.

Various members have advised to get the kits to the vets tonight if you can. What more advice can be given? If none, then perhaps the thread should be locked.

Its the way she said it. And about ava that i would take her doctors if she was poorly. . They could of been a nicer way to be given the advise x
