It's been a while, so I thought I'd post a little update... Sophie and Casper are still very happy together. Sophie turned 14 last month, and she's been getting noticeably Old this past year. She's gotten pretty slow and wonkier, and she has gotten cataracts and has lost quite a bit of her vision. Her cornea is so weak it keeps getting damaged, so she's been on eye drops more often than not this year, which she has mostly gotten used to, though it's not something she enjoys, and who can blame her. She's still her own silly, sleepy self, though, and loves her snoozes with Casper, especially now it's spring and there's lovely sunshine to nap in together.
Casper's aging a lot more gracefully. He's 13 now, but he still seems like young bunny to me aside from him not jumping and periscoping much because of his arthritis. I'm sure he'll outlive me

He still needs dentals, as does Sophie, but they both recover from them very quickly without issues. He has, after years of living here, finally figured out that his salads come from the kitchen, so he comes in there to beg for herbs now

He got a big dose of spring fever this year and kept wanting to hump Sophie, which is not ideal, clearly! He seems to finally be getting over it now, thankfully, and it never got to the point where it became a big problem. He's still happiest being smooshed by Sophie, as the photos will show. As the photos will also show, their litter habits are basically non-existent these days

And two recent videos, one of Casper being happy he can go outside again and one of Sophie having fallen asleep while building a nest:
