Mischief's birthday ❤️

Hi everybun. I wanted to tell you all that Mischief (or Mr Chief) is 6 years old today

We wanted to celebrate this birthday with him so I made a 'herbs and forage cake' that just ended up looking like a pile of forage so I didn't take a photo We sang happy birthday to him which was probably an awful sound for him as we are both terrible singers! However he absolutely loves his 'birthday cake' which of course he shares with Lillabelle. He has been lying there next to it ever since We also gave him a willow carrot as a birthday pressie.

Thank you Bunny Momma. Mischief has been eating his birthday forage nonstop. He has a very full tummy. I went to give him a birthday cuddle but he feels too full. I would hate someone to pick me up and hug me after my Xmas dinner so I don't expect he wants a cuddle right now either. It is actually past his birthday now but I will give him a cuddle later.

He hasn't touched his willow carrot yet apart from pushing it away with his nose as I showed him it as it was in the way of his forage. He makes me chuckle so much.

Months ago he got into our bathroom and chewed some plastic bit which is on the bend of our water pipe in there. I turned on the water and it leaked everywhere. Since then we have kept the door jammed but he is always sitting outside our bathroom trying to get in. Earlier he pushed his way in when I was in there and when I told him to go out and gently pushed him with my foot he got really boorish and argumentative trying to push his way in. Eventually he went with a little binky and shake of the ears and tail all defiantly. My OH said as soon as I left the bedroom to use the loo he ran out really fast to follow me. He is obsessed with that bathroom still. Naughty bunny

Later he came down to the kitchen for his treat and Lillabelle quickly followed behind him. It is usually that way of Mischief being the one to look for treats and trouble. I gave them each a small bit of cauliflower leaf. He immediately hopped down the hall away from Lillabelle. I tried to give him part of the leaf that he left behind but he ran under the bed hiding away from me with his prize. He obviously was guarding it from me. He is a funny rabbit. Makes us laugh a lot

I wonder why he is attracted to the bathroom? I cannot imagine the plastic on the water pipe tasting any good. Perhaps he thought it was a chew toy! Or he liked the texture. Though we do not want leaking pipes, water

Thank you everybun for my birthday messages. I had a lovely day with my birthday cake which was all made out of my favourite food. I felt so full afterwards and even couldn't take any more trips to the bathroom I love going to the bathroom to chew anything interesting like the water pipe and the new lilo behind the mirror where the hoomans can't see it. I like it especially since they stop me going in there so it must be full of exciting places to explore. Sending nose bumps to everybun from me and Lillabelle

I don't know for sure but he is always sitting outside the bathroom and he tries to barge the door open. It is jammed shut atm (rather than a lock) as we are getting new doors soon as the landlord is finally fixing up our flat after 11 years waiting My OH has said we need to get a lock on the door now as we will have a ruined bathroom if Chief carries on chewing everything. We had a whole new bathroom fitted recently including flooring and we put a floor standing mirror in there until we got a new bathroom cabinet. He had been going in there and nibbling on the lino behind the mirror. I wondered why Chief kept going in the bathroom and running out again very quickly whenever we went in there!

We do have to watch him all the time. He is called Mischief for a reason

Mischief sounds so much fun I always imagined big buns were chill, little buns were fun - my brain almost had it on a sliding scale & I've only had bunnies in the 1.8 - 3k range. I kinda love about big bunnies is there is more of them to love. I like that he is obsessed with working on the bathroom. Very helpful of him I like open doors (room doors not cupboard ones - they drive me insane) so our bathroom door is usually open....never once have I seen any of my buns go in there. I did find a solitary poop in the shower cubicle once. It could in theory have been Joey or Boo but I'd stake my life on it being Boo, it was so her style & so not Joeys

I apologise in not replying sooner. We have been spending our energy on helping Lillabelle to get better. I think I have missed a few posts. I am so tired I struggle to see the words.

Yes big buns are great for cuddling. Mischief is a heavy lump on my chest but he will actually go to sleep on me snoring away or next to me. We happily snooze together

He is very comical. With his white muzzle and sticky up fur on his head he looks like a cartoon bunny. He has such great expressions we can actually see how his brain thinks.
He is a very sweet, lovable bun and his greatest love is food with Lillabelle a close second. He adores her.

He came in the bathroom again tonight while I was in there. He barged open the door and rushed in and when I said 'no...out' he did this funny reversing backwards out the door

I love that Boo left you a present in the shower! Bless her little Boo ❤
