I feel the need to check her sex, which I've never done before (never had the need) - I mean she was spayed by the RSPCA so I don't see how they can have got that wrong? would explain the difficult bond though. Am I being silly? Off to google girl buns humping inanimate objects

I'd be suprised if they got it wrong. Pip used to hump Archie all thr time. But never an inanimate object. Maybe it's becuase b and w smells of other buns. She got confused.

It shouldn't really smell of other rabbits though, Eddy never cared for it & it got washed after Boobly left

There is a change of vibe in the warren 
They were much better last night...not talking near bonded but near tolerance. Eddy was doing lots of nice approaches. I felt mean splitting them up. however I am going to wait til they groom or sit close before I attempt an all nighter
This afternoon Eddy's first chase of Chinook turned in to a binky, landing himself on the armchair. Then again. There have since been tiny chases where he puts no effort in & she barely moves. Plus Eddy has stopped doing his pointy, snarly face & looks "softer". He also looks in great health, his coat is spectacular atm.

Thanks both. I can't bond them tomorrow - have Bob's xmas work do tomorrow. Annoyed with self as i've always said no to this stuff but he showed me invite when i was hungry - having cauliflower bang-bang, mushroom risotto and something chocolatey.
Ii'll be back on with it first thing Saturday morning. Obv they in til midnight tonight but thats quite a gap

It sounded very active til 3:30am but as i only woke when they were moving I probably have a skewed perception of it. Eddy kept launching himself on to me too. There were definitely chases . Sometimes when I leave the room I video them & the other night I was convinced I was watching a massive chase but it was just Chinook doing zoomies. Eddys approaches are often very gently now - she still tends to move away though. They do both look happy, healthy & relaxed though. Its not eactly a whirlwind romance is it?Whew! Well kinda. They in from about 10am til midnight if I'm off work, 4pm til midnight on the 4 days I work & last night was the first all nighter...so currently at 37 hours....by the time I'd be leaving tomorrow it'd be nearer 50. They could have been another 24 hours into the non stop thing had it not been for that christmas meal out
