Wise Old Thumper
Meet Chinook, our lovely girlfriend to be for Eddy. I promised photos even if they are no good so here we are.

She's about 15 months, surrendered to the RSPCA at 16 weeks. She is still a tad nervy around us, very gentle when shes in the mood to interact. She has used her litter trays beautifully. She is of a similar weight & size to Eddy but much longer legs 😍 She seems nicely settled for 10 days in. No chance in hell she is gonna let me pick her up (in the centre she was picked up twice daily to go out in a run...she was even thrust in to my arms when we visited her).

We've had binkies & not all of them have been for Eddy

Aww yes! Only other Chinook I know is an overexcitable but lovely alsatian who also has helicopter ears XD

She is beautiful! Plus she does binky shows!! Sending lots of bonding vibes!
Thank You BM 😍 Appreciate the vibes too, bonding starts on Saturday. Depending how it goes we'll work out our strategy then. Starting on Saturday as we are both commitment free this weekend & there is the hope it could happen in one weekend.

i've never bonded outside Spring & early Summer. apparently Autumn & Winter are much easier as no Spring Fever & rabbity hormones to deal with

i'm happy there is another chinook out there & of course he has to have helicopter ears. i thought of you when we settled on her name
Good luck for Saturday and I love the name. We hear Chinooks are the time here, love the sound.

Thank You BM

I'm all ready. Have purchased lots of herbs & had an autumn forage. Also bought a half price duvet cover to go on bathroom floor so it defo won't smell of anybun.. Will fill bath tub with supplies - gardening glove, bunny edibles, sweets & choc to keep us going, tunnels & cardboard boxes to add in once we've watched them awhile. They'll have a hay & herb central pile, no litter trays & 2 water bowls. Have I missed anything? I want to start when the vets are open & the bathroom isn't being used as such :ROFLMAO: Anybun know what time works best for bunnies? Chinook will let me pick her up now so thats good in a practical sense. Which bun goes in to the bathroom first?

I've also had a talk with myself - I can do this. I already bonded Angel to Ralph, Ralph to Kitty, Noodle to Joey, Joey to Boo, Mouse to Joey & Boo, Rudey to Mouse, Eddy to (blind & deaf) Boo. Only failed with the quad attempt.

EEEKKKK. I'm a bundle of nerves & excitement
