Albert, gentle 8 yr old rex needs retirement home - sad update p.26

Hi there, I currently have 3 young boys and an 8 year old girl. I'm looking to separate our girl Daisey as she's getting old and frail and needs a calmer companion. I would be interested in rehoming Albert and bonding him with Daisey. I could offer free range in our living room when we're out and of the whole house plus garden time when we are home. I live in Northampton so not too far away x

I am so sorry that I have not updated this thread - I have not had the heart to do so.

Albert was diagnosed with kidney stones and kidney failure several weeks ago and although we hoped that he could be kept comfortable for some more time with us, very sadly he went into acute failure last week and passed away.

For the shorttime we had him with us he was the perfect Velveteen Gentleman and I shall always remember him. He is buried in the wild part of our country garden close to Parsley and Bluebell.

What a sad ending. At least he had a happy hutch free existence towards the end of his life. Well done to everyone who set him free.
