We have a rew that we rescued last November, shes about 6yrs old, we had her spayed as soon as we got her.
Anyway Sunday is big muck out and bum checking day! We have found a lump on her left side just sort of on the edge of her belly, if you stroke her side you cant feel it but if you stroke slightly under her you can. Its about as long as your thumb nail and soft and raised up. She is totally fine, eating/drinking, weeing/pooing running round the garden like a loon.
Our vets doesnt open sundays so i rang the emergency vet for advice and they say as long as shes ok in herself to leave it till tomorrow. Which i am fine with but I just wondered if I am looking at something nasty and if I should prepare the kids, again.
I feel that as she was spayed so late it could maybe be something sinister from that or maybe, she says hopefully just a cyst??
