Cushion cover fabric opinions

So I'm looking to make cushion inserts for the girls den. I've found my wadding I'll use (10oz polyester) and got all he measurements but I'm struggling to find a suitable fabric to make the covers with that aren't overly expensive.

My options are;

Towels from Tesco (they have these folded in the cage and seem to agree with the fabric and feel) - fairly cheap but could be hard and heave to work with

Fleece blankets cut up to size - most expensive but should be fairly easy to work with and easy to wash

Old bed sheets - cheap and easy to work with but worried the fabric will be too thin

Any opinions are welcome. Xx

I use fleece - do you have an ikea in your area as they have some fleece which are about £1.50.

Thanks Amy. Our closest one is 3 hours away but we're due to visit one soon anyway so I might just bump that up.

Do you have a poundland, they do fleece blankets and they are only £1.00 lol, they are nice and soft, they tend to have dog related pics on but i am sure bunny won't mind xx

We got some cheap fleece blankets to make dog bed covers from at The Range. Dunelm Mill may be worth a look as well.

The only disadvantage of fleece is that it will pick up all the fluff and hay.

How about charity shops - curtains, quilt covers, etc. Even old coats would do if you can get a big enough panel, or make a stripey one.

Thanks for the ideas.
I tried dunelm today but the only material they have is rough curtain stuff.

I'll try the range and also check pound land. Thank you :)
