Bonding Pip to her new friend

I just finished 3.5hrs date.

Similar to last time, he tried a few lunges which I stopped. She dug his bum when he was apparently in her way. Lol. They both did somw grunting and tried to nip a few times.
Other wise they just munch or snooze.
I can't trust them to be alone though, they def would have a boxing fight I recon.
This photo is the closest they've snoozed. Pip did lower her ears down for a bit.

Not sure there was any progress as such between them, but Bumble gave me his first nose kiss to me. So that's it, he has to stay now. 🥰

Bumble would steal my heart too with his binkies, twirlies and now nose kisses! He is smart enough to bond with you too!!
It sounds.like Pip is relaxing more too.

He is rather adorable. 😍 he has a lovely personality towards humans and I feel so bad putting him back in his pen each night. He looks so sad 😞

It sounds like there are a lot more calm times now, they are lay pretty close there

They are mostly calm and I can watch tv whilst they are snoozing. But when they get face to face and get lungey they savage my poor oven gloves. They are now very holey. Lol
 
Only had time for 2hrs tonight.

Pip was ok calm right from the start not even trying to escape. I thought wow we are really getting somewhere. They didn't get that close though, but otherwise it was pretty calm. There was the odd lunge that I had to stop at the start and a few times they both went towards each head first and I could tell they weren't being friendly, so my oven gloves got savaged again.

Mostly they ate with a teeny bit of snoozing. About 1.5hrs in Pip decided she wanted to nip his butt and chase him a bit, but after a while he did some binkies, so I think he likes it. Lol

Oh and Pip levitated and landed on his head, he seemed more confused than fighty, but I moved her away just incase. She has decided she'd had enough and wanted to get back in her pen. Lol
 
🙄 well I certainly understand why they say you shouldn't work with animals.

All was fine until 20mins in Bumble did a huge wee and decided to claim a side of the pen and so they had a fisty cuffs. I stopped them and they calmed down a bit . They managed to eat close up once, but after that he just seemed wired and edgy. Pip also seemed to want to put him in his place by digging or nipping him, but because he was wired he kept facing her whenever she came near and looked like he was going to nip/fight. So I had to intervene. The vibe just felt off. I kept going until it had been 2hrs. They both had a snooze but they looked grumpy and Pip gave him the butt.

Feeling very disappointed because it felt like it had been going in the right direction and I had planned to do a long date tomorrow and now feeling anxious about it.

Sometimes it does feel like the vibe is all wrong. Try not to be too disheartened though, bunnies are fickle beasts, they will probably be feeling in a different mood entirely tomorrow. that said i'm very frustrated with it all, feel like I'm peeing in the wind.

Thanks. Going to see how tomorrow goes and hope that they turn a corner, I currently feel like I don't have the capacity to complete the bonding. 😞. Yeah I def feel like I'm peeing in the wind.
 
I can't even imagine how stressful it must be trying to bond bunnies, but hopefully you will get a breakthrough soon, and they will play nicely. Easy for me to say, but I think you are doing a great job x
 
I am sorry yesterday was an off day for them and hope they settle soon.
You still did two hours so you deserve a lot of credit and a treat!
 
I'm sat in the bunny arena. Currently they are both having a snooze. I'm 3hrs in so far.

Pip was quite feisty for the first 2hrs and they had a big fur flying scuffle 45mins in. Pip did her first flop during a bonding session though after 2.5hrs

I'm on my 3rd film. 😆curse of the were rabbit..... it seemed appropriate

well done, i'm a little envious as still messing round with orders. I'm glad Pip was able to flop. Buns, stop scuffling & start loving

Soap orders? It's busy time of year isn't it.

I'm nearly at 6 hrs. Pip has finally had a longer snooze. There's not been much positive progress to be fair. She just wants out and is taking out her frustration on Bumble. Not sure whether I should just keep going or stop after say 8 hrs any advice

OK I've almost done 9 hrs. They are currently sleeping a foot apart.
So they still box each other's faces and nip like a crazy furball whenever they get close. Especially face to face. So would you let them sort that out? To me it feels like the start of a bunado
