Hi all.
Since we brought Bumble home last Oct, I kept hearing this intermittent sound that sounds a bit like a **** crossed with a rabbit grunt. I've never heard it before, so had presumed it was Bumble as he was new. Its been very random, but I finally heard it whilst sat in the pen with them and it definitely came from Pip!
This has suprised me, she seems fine. I dont think it was a grunt of annoyance, she's never done that before and she was happily sat on the castle at the time.
In her old pair she used to regularly do a cute oink sort of grunt especially around food, so we always took that as her claiming territory over the food from Archie.
She hasn't made that sound once since his passing, and has been really calm around food. She used to sometimes bat her feet forward whilst grunting and claim thr food as hers too.
This new sound isn't linked to food. Just seems to happen when she's sat either cleaning or just doing regular bun stuff.
Has anyone had a bun who's sounds have changed in a new pairing? Do senior buns have different noises?
She's just had a health check and passed with flying colours. So I'm not worried, just interested in suppose .
