i feel for you! at my last house eric ate some of the plaster and skirting board from a very prominent place on the landing but i managed to cover it up well enough for it not to be noticed
chilli houdini hamster escaped from his glass tank (lidded) and made a lovely nest underneath a cupboard i had blocked off one of the living room doors with. the whole house had the exact same carpet all the way through and that room alone was huuuge.
i googled carpet repair and managed to get a couple of local blokes round to patch it - very very well!! - for 20 quid i know thats not possible with a large amount of damage but there must be a cheaper alternative to replacing all of it?:?[/QUOTE]
^^^ this. You never know who can do things...Lots of practical sounding bods on here who might be able to help too.
Also, your buns have TONNES of space so don't feel guilty. I know you liked to let ginger have stairs time for physio, so maybe she could have supervised time to keep those little muscles of hers happy?
Try not to stress too much, I'm sure there's a solution somewhere.
