and we are home! He is hiding under the sofa as he usually does after a trip to the vets! Trying to tempt him to eat stuff, but they said he has eaten and pooped.

I'm really happy with my vets too. If anyone is in Cheshire and wants a good vet, I would rccomend them for this op. They kept him overnight and gave him pain relif all through the night when needed, and charged me the standard rate, no extras.
