Vibes for Boobly Bear please

Hope Boobly had a good night, and no more sneezies, and hope Eddy is still being the attentive husbun x

Thanks for asking Reader & PM. I've only spent 10 mins with her but she seems ok. she was huddled in usual spot with Eddy when I woke, next to an empty food bowl - last night they had piles of food she is managing, which now includes chopped cavalo nero (also cucumber, lettuce, bit of pear...). Happy to not see wet poos. If she is sneezing I've not heard it, similarily if she is drinking or eating hay I've no evidence. Back to work today so more food piles & hopefully I can sneak her enough wet nuggets behind Eddys back

nope, no strawberries for Eddy. He is neither recuperating nor in need of the calories. Poor sausage
This sounds like code for you ate the rest yourself!😂😂.
I am glad to read you did not hear Boo sneezing today and hope that she stays sneeze free.
They both look very cute in their photos.

I'm glad she seemed okay this morning. I hope her mouth's been feeling better today and she's started to nibble some hay and drink some. Sending her more vibes. ❤️

I haven't eaten any - honest. Normally I don't buy strawberries but from the garden Boo always gets the first one!, the rest are shared between her, Bob & I - Eddy only gets the leaves. I know it sounds mean but I don't want him gaining any more weight

Well I think the sneezing has gone :) She was so hungry when I got home. I'll let you know if I see any hay eating or water drinking. She wolfed down some fresh grass though

Yay, great news. 😊
Thank You, it is. Been with her even longer & not heard a sneeze. I picked up a few just budding twigs for her & she enjoyed them. Made me happy as I don't feel her current recuperation diet is high enough in fibre. Ruth did say that having her cavity cleaned out will have made her uncomfortable again - I hope its "just" that

Just catching up on this, am glad Boo is feeling better! Hope her mouth is feeling much more comfortable now.

Eddy was a superstar. It normally takes2 of us ages to capture him . Today I had a little chat, acknowledging him being worried about Boo & to make her better we needed to journey to the vet..no doubt a complete coincidence butr he let me pick him up instantly to pop him in carrier.
it was a complete coincidence 🤣 just tested it out

"hey Eddy, you know that home the police rescued you from? well I was wondering if you'd like to go back. If you would, let me pick you up " ....& he did.

It does not sound mean. You do not want him to gain weight nor do you want him to develope a taste for something he could not have often. My lionheads became beggers after my knee surgery last year and they gained weight. Now they are giving us the sad faces because they are getting many fewer pellets. I remember how Boo gets the first strawberry each summer! 😍 You have more willpower than I. Last time I gave my bunnies a tiny piece of strawberry they sniffed it and walked away. They probably wondered why it did not have cream😁

Oh, Eddy. 🤣🥰

I'm glad you haven't heard her sneeze anymore, and that she enjoyed some twigs. It's hard to get lots of fibre into them when they're not eating hay, isn't it. It's a good sign that she did a good looking poop on your foot. I bet she wanted to be sure you saw it. 🤣 I hope she'll make some progress with her hay and water today. That makes sense that having the cavity cleaned out will have caused her new discomfort. I hope it's "just" that, too. Sending her a lot more eating and drinking vibes. ❤️

Hi folks,
Thanks Jane - she is a brave & resilient old girl ❤️

BM - yes, I expect they were wanting cream & champagne too 🤣 Pleased you don't think I'm being mean denying Eddy

Reader ...yeah without hay its difficult...& as I type she is eating hay, first time I've seen it ❤️ I was just starting to chill with the hay too, learning to trust her judgement. Some foods (basil last night for instance) still make her drool though she is dry inbetween

Omi & Babsie - I'm out from 9-4-5pm so I've no real idea how she is til I've spent a while with her. Today my bus didn't come so I've not long been home. The little bit of hay she just had has to be a good sign❤️

Going to weigh them tonight - dreading Eddys most. Although she is having separate feeds I'm having to leave a lot of food out overnight & while I'm at work
