Hello,
Just looking for opinions, really.
My Pepper is 7 and while she is bright, inquisitive and playful, we’re aware she’s a delicate li’l lady. She’s had UTI’s, kidney stones and is prone to stasis. We’ve managed all of this, but we know we’re not going to have her forever.
She has recently developed teeth issues inside her mouth. I’ve had 3 vets look at her and they all agree that the issue isn’t so bad as needing to risk a GA that she may not wake up from. (Obviously, if we have to we will, but we’re not there yet.)
She’s not keen on eating hay any more (which is probably what’s caused the issue), so we’re looking at other ways of getting fibre into her. She likes hay sticks, so we’re offering this alongside long hay and cut-up hay. She eats pellets and fresh herbs well. She drinks well and doesn’t hide.
My OH found these on Amazon - has anyone tried them? Do you rate them?
I’m willing to try pretty much anything that will help her avoid a GA xx
