As the title suggests, one of my rabbits has ingested some plastic overnight. I use a pipette to feed my fish and must've dropped it on the floor last night without realising. I remember hearing some nibbling when I was in bed but I didn't think anything of it tbh. Anyway, I found the pipette on the floor this morning with a chunk missing. I can't find it anywhere, although that's not to say it isn't somewhere on the floor, it could just be hard to see. I'm assuming however from the teeth marks on the rest of the pipette that one of the rabbits has eaten it. It's probably about the length of a thumbnail, if it has been eaten they would've had to chew it up into smaller bits but I'm really scared it's going to cause a blockage or that whoever has eaten it won't be able to pass it. They're both in good spirits this morning, I've seen both eat and drink. I haven't seen them go to the toilet but their litter trays do have poop in them. I've had to leave them as I need to go into the office today, should I be worried? If it happened last night would I have noticed any ill effects by now? I've included a picture of the pipette, it's made of bendy plastic so isn't "sharp" but obviously not designed to be eaten!
