Good luck!
Srry forgot to come back on lol got a bit side tracked. Took him to vet and he checked him. Nothing I explained what's happened he's said it sounds like he just doesn't like the food that he's on now and prefered the one before.
So I guess im switching him back the oregano pellets until he gets feed up of them. Charged me 20 quid.

I always feel like I've been robbed when a vet tells me what I already know, because this usually takes about 5 minutes for £20. £240 an hour seems pretty tidy wage to me. However, better to be safe than sorry and all that jazz.
I really just need to make friends with a vet, mates rates. That's the pet owners dream.
Staff and facilities are not free.
Lol, no, I realise that. I just compare it to my job, and if someone comes to me with a problem and I can fix it within 5 minutes for example, I would feel a cheek charging them anything.
Apparently my views on wages aren't very popular though, I suppose this is a world where footballs earn more than nurses, firemen, soldiers, policemen etc etc so I dunno why I'm surprised! Ho hum.
TBH my vet has waived the cost for me in the past on more than one occasion. :thumb:
Ah see, that's brilliant I think.!
I just think sometimes people are put off taking their animals to the vets because of the costs.
Then they shouldn't have pets in the first place! It's a necessity in pet ownership. Too many people take on animals without thinking it through and the animal suffers because they can't be bothered to spend the money. It's terrible.
(This isn't aimed at anyone on this thread or forum, more the chavvy scum on my facebook who get a puppy on a whim and leave it to suffer )
I always try and get a few things done in one go, for example if I ask for a general health check and for the otterscope (sp?) to be used to check teeth at the same time as the vaccination, they only charge for the vaccination. I also dislike paying £25 just for 5 mins to say there is nothing wrong.
My last trip to the vet cost me £157 for 7 rabbits to have full health checks, nails trimmed, all weighed and vaccinated with the combi vac. I thought that was quite a bargain. I actually drove the buns back to my vet in hull for it because the ones in grimsby wanted to charge me £196 just for the vaccinations without anything else and that was with a multi rabbit discount.
£157 for that is a great price!! Worth the drive for that! I wonder why vets prices vary so much, is it a geographical thing or simply just prices the individual practises decide on?
Sometimes life isn't so simple! If I lost my job, I'd be heart broken at having give my animals up. People's circumstances change for various reasons. The world isn't as black and white as you suggest I'm afraid, it's not always about people 'not being bothered' to spend the money.
