I got my first ever bunnies today, a pair of 9 week old mini lops! They're soooooo cute, even more adorable than I remembered!
They're brother and sister, the male called Domino is a black mantle and the female called Button is a broken agouti. They're beautiful!
Domino is a lunatic! After about 15 mins of being home, he was already doing bunny 500s! lol. First time I've seen them!
Button is a bit calmer but every now and then she starts running around too! They're both now relaxing after tiring themselves out!
I've stroked them lots and they seem very comfortable and relaxed in their new home! I'm quite surprised at how quickly they've settled in!
I'm still not very good at holding them yet though. I pick them up the right way, supporting their bottom but they just kick and wriggle free. I've got a fair amount of scratches on me to prove it!
But I suppose I shouldn't be too downhearted becuase I'm not going to master it straight away! I've stopped trying to pick them up now because I don't want to stress them out too much!
One final thing, every now and again, Button leaves a soft poo around along with normal round poos. They're not watery but they're also definitely not normal. They look dark and squidgy and they smell a bit too. I'm not sure what it is though because I have seen her do normal poos aswell. Bit confused! :? Hope someone can help!
Anyway, the best part now. The pics!
Domino first!
All worn out!
Shows you how small he is! (And my hands are small!)
I love the fur on his neck! It's beautiful!
