A had a poorly bun last week which what I thought was GI stasis as he was doing all the normal issues, apart from he was acting strange by rolling around on his back. He had two issues like this last week. On the second Vet trip blood was taken and the Vet said his glucose was high, so he sent the bloods off.
They came back to today and the white blood cells are low.
He has to get some anti-biotics, then have another test next week. Any ideas what may be an issue here? The vet says if it isn't an infection may have to go down the bone marrow route which is obviously worrying.
I have read that the white cells can change throughout the day or by stress etc which I will mention to the vet when I take him in, so was just wondering if anyone else has anything similar.
He seems ok today, eating pooing weeing etc and seems himself. Obviously I am very stressed though!
