My mini rex, Paige
When I adopted her she had a severe calcium deficiency because her owners didn't feed her properly. She and her sister were only let of their cage once a month for cleaning, when the shelter bought them to be spayed Paige's sister became frightened and broke her back on the carrier. Paige was terrified of us and would start shaking if we tried to touch her, now after lots of patience and a good diet she is healthy and happy. She lives in a x-pen with her bondmate and has free roam of the house whenever we're home. She spends her day sleeping on the couch, digging through the hay boxes, or begging for treats
