Trying to find Dexter a new home

Hello, this is my first post to the forum, unfortunately it's not a happy one, but i believe it's the best for my rabbit.

I have a gorgeous male lop called Dexter, who is coming up to a year old. Unfortunately, at the start of the year, i unexpectedly became disabled, which has left me unable to meet my rabbits needs. While i have found a wonderful new home for my other rabbits, Dexter is still in need of his forever home.
I've owned rabbits for 14 years, and it would break my heart to part with this guy as he is such a character, but i believe it would be unfair to keep him with my new circumstances.

He is neutered, up to date with all vaccines and has a clean bill of health. He's also tested negative for E.Cuniculi
He's quite independent, but does enjoy lying next to you, and will briefly allow you to stroke him. He'll follow you around the house like a dog and also knows his name so will come running if you call him. Very vocal and comical.
He needs more work with getting used to handled for brushing or moved from place to place, but it shouldn't take too much effort to get him more comfortable and he's already made great progress.
I'm hoping for him to go to a place where he can be free-roamed, or kept in an insulated shed and let out into a safe garden. He's litter trained and has never caused any damage to my carpets or skirting boards, though he hunts my phone charger out like a missile lol.
He'll need to be bonded to a female rabbit, or multiple females.
Right now, he's on a diet of mainly hay and pellets, with a salad every day. Not fussy at all and has never had stasis or a sensitive stomach.
Dexter would be suitable to live in a household with a calm dog.
I believe that he'd be best suited to a home without cats or small children due to his temperament of being a bit skittish at times.

I'm not asking for any money for Dexter or the equipment he'll come with, i just want him to go to the best home possible.
Based in the Winsford area. Pickup is preferred as i can't drive, but i might be able to drop him off on a weekend if i can get a family member to drive me.
Send me a PM if you want to contact me about Dexter. Due to my health, i'm asleep for long periods of time.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post. I really appreciate it Xx

I'm so sorry you find yourself in this position. I really do know how it feels to give up a beloved pet or pets due to illness. The missing never goes away. I hope you manage to find Dexter a loving new home. He sounds a delight!

It might be worth contacting her by PM (I think this is what she suggested). I have my fingers crossed.
