Rabbits needed expert homes… seeking the impossible I fear 😢

I was wondering if you could keep me in mind if people looking to rehome an existing bonded pair of bunnies. We are relocating to Italy with my husbands job and it absolutely breaks my heart but I can’t take the rabbits with me 😢😢😢. It goes against my grain to rehome as all my adult life has been spent taking them in, but I don’t really have a choice. I need to find rabbit savvy people because both pairs are a little complicated.

Tim and Dylan (female) are a sweet pair of lion heads, Tim is around 4 and Dylan is around 2/3, I actually rehomed her around 18months ago from a lady who was dying from terminal cancer and she was devoted to her. Dylan must have had some dental issues before I had her because she started to have issues with her front molars last Oct/Nov. I thought she had injured them but when she went under a dental it turned out she is missing a whole arcade of back molars! The vet decided to leave her insciors in but it now means she has to go and have them trimmed every 6-8 weeks which is £29 at my vets. Her insurance covered her dental and I’m happy to keep it on or transfer to new owner, my concern is realistically I’m not going to find anyone willing to take her on and she may have to be PTS which is such a shame because she’s so lovely.😪.

Tim is a lovely gentle boy.

My other pair are two lops with big personalities; especially Jack. Both found in different times/places wandering the streets. Jack who is around 2 is a cheeky chap who isn’t afraid of anything, he had mild myxi last year and survived it (they are vaccinated thankfully). He was a bit beaten up when I got him as must as lived with another male so had a lot of war wounds. Missy is a shy girl, possibly around 4 and failed every other bond I tried her with before Jack! She has nerve damage on one cheek due to a bite but it has never bothered her over the last two years or impacted her teeth. Just looks like she’s pulling one cheek in!

I am based in the North East of England but willing to travel to find them the right home.
It’s all very stressful 😢

Thank you for reading
Pics are of Dylan and Tim.

They are lovely looking rabbits.
Are they all vaccinated and neutered?
Would they come with any of their housing set up?

Dylan's teeth trimming: I'm assuming she's Ok with a conscious burring? Which vet do you use (PM me if you prefer)

Hi
All vaccinated and neutered bar my female lop who isn’t spayed.
They currently live in a brick stable and massive aviary which can’t be moved 🤣. I am willing to buy them new set ups though for the right home. They have never been ‘caged’ while with me so used to a lot of space.
I’m based in County Durham and use Gilmoor vets in Gilesgate. They have some very good rabbit savvy/exotic vets there. Dylan is very good with a conscious burr to sort her molars. Originally the plan was to remove them but they decided it was better to leave them in. She manages well and is maintaining her weight. I do finely chop her veg on an evening though.x
