Quick hello and a bit of a sad update

Scipio seems to be doing ok so far, although I feel really sad to see him on his own. He's actually sleeping in the spot where was Fudgie was most of yesterday.
I remember when Fudgie lost Snoopy, she seemed ok at first but the next day she was noticeably starting to struggle. She found it very difficult to settle as she didn't want to sit or sleep in the places where she'd snuggled up with Snoopy. Maybe it's that they understand that their friend has gone but it takes a little longer to register that they're on their own now.
I'll keep an eye on Scipio and try to gauge when it's the right time to start looking for a new friend for him.
Oh and he says thank you for the nose rubs. Xx

Agree completely. You both remain in my thoughtsSending lots of hugsit's very hard I find on the remaining bun, some do tend to cope better than others, it's also hard on you having to sort out a new friend when you might not be ready either xx

I am sorry to read your update yet know you did what was best for Fudgie even though it broke your heart to lose your feisty Fudgie. I can envision her stampeding with hearts in her eyes to her first love, Snoopy. Hugs.

Scipio is doing ok. He's spending most of his time just sitting, but he did do a zoomie this morning and has played with his toys for a bit. He is at least still eating ok. We're both really missing Fudgie, the house seems so strange without her

I did have a little smile when I thought of a routine me and Fudgie had in the mornings. I always clean out the litter trays first thing in the morning and whenever I used to put the one in the bedroom down, Fudgie was always come over and move it so it was in the correct position and at the correct angle. I never did work out the correct positioning and angle. The only thing I do know is that I never got it right! I'd then make my bed and I'd be fussing over the pillows while Fudgie was fussing over the litter tray. It kind of became our little morning housekeeping routine.

Glad you are both doing ok, and nice that Scipio did a zoomie. I know what you mean about routines, I still miss the little evening ritual I had with Treacle. She would come and lie down in front of me, about 9 o'clock, and I would get down and gjve her a little massage from her head and down her back, she loved it. You and Fudgie sorting out your bed and the litter tray made me smile xx
