Thank you everyone again for your kind messages. It is with my deepest sadness to say that sadly Basil passed away in the night. I went out this morning to feed him and give him a cuddle to find that he had passed. I am absolutely beside myself with sadness as this was so unepected. I feel so guilty that it may be my fault, that I missed something. He was totally fine yesterday, enjoying the dig box I made him. It was only when I went to put him to bed that he was a bit more quiet and not particularly interested in his veggies, which I just put down to grief. I'm so sorry Basil. Sleep well xx
