I’ve never posted on this site before but I just need somewhere where people understand. My sweet boy Floof died in my arms on Saturday at 19:08. He was being treated for E. cuniculi and he had other issues too… He is with the vet now for a necropsy as I can’t let this go, I need to know what went wrong.

He was truly my best friend, my whole heart, I don’t know how to live without him. I hope he knew I was with him at the end and that he had some comfort. I know you all will understand what I’m going through. IMG_8176.jpeg

I am sure that Floof will live on in your heart and in all the memories of happy times. I know it’s not the same as having him with you in his physical form. But when we have such a strong bond with a very special Rabbit nothing can break that bond, not even death. The bond will remain forever ❤️
 
I am sorry you lost your handsome Floof. It is very traumatic to have your pet die in your arms, yet you are correct that it eased his passing to be with you during his final moments. He knew he was loved and was lucky to have such a caring person in his life.
Our bunnies become members of our families when one passes it can leave a huge hole in your heart, mind and soul. Sending you comforting hugs.

I’m so sorry to read that you’ve lost your Floof. What a very handsome boy. Yes, he would have known that you were holding him, caring for him and comforting him, which will have eased his passing. He will always be close to you, in your heart. He knew very well how loved he was, and will always be. :cry:
 
I'm so very sorry that you have lost your beautiful boy, but I'm sure he would have known you were holding him, and would know how much he was loved. It might help in time, and to keep his memories alive, if you write a little tribute to him, maybe in the Rainbow Bridge thread as others have done. Sweet dreams little Floof xx

Sometimes after a little while people feel they would like to write a tribute to their beloved pet, sort of honouring them, with tales of their exploits, perhaps photos. I haven't explained that very well at all I'm afraid but I hope you understand what I mean.

I'm so sorry you lost your precious Floof. What a beautiful boy he was. Its a pain like no other & I'm sorry you have to go through it :(
