We have 2 bunnies brother and sister 5½ months old , they live in a bunny house (see pic below ) currently they have a hutch and a cage where they stay separately of a night but spend all day together , they have never been separated , trips to the vets together both got neutered same day , yearly jab together etc , they play together run round the garden , eat with each other , flop and sleep throughout the day, they constantly groom each other , so it appears they are well bonded , but we are a bit nervous about putting them in the hutch together overnight , he mounts her maybe once a day for a few seconds and she mounts him but only when he goes into wherever she has slept the night before ( we rotate the sleeping arrangements every night , if honey (girl) is in the cage last night she will be in the hutch tonight .
So my question is are they ready to live in the hutch together just of a night ???
