They’re coming home today! Glad he’s had company while there He’ll have lots of meds, and repeat tests in a couple of weeks to check meds are doing their job.

Thanks all Back home with more milk thistle and a different antibiotic for a further two weeks before repeat bloods. Vet was happy things were better but felt still room for more improvement xxx

Thanks everyone Repeat bloods today show liver inflammation still there. However, as he’s well in himself, vet happy not to carry our further tests at the moment as they would be invasive - X-ray and liver sample. We’ll go back again in about a month and see how things are then, unless of course he shows any signs of pain before then.

Hope he remains well within himself. Has the Vet mentioned giving him Milk Thistle as a supplement to support his Liver Function ? I used this for Inspector Morse after his Liver Biopsy etc.

Thank you, he’s been on Milk Thistle since they first discovered liver problems. He also had marbocyl at first (as well as stasis meds and Metacam), now nearly finished doxycycline course. What did Inspector Morse’s liver biopsy show, if you don’t mind me asking? Do you mean he was permanently on MT? Thank you again xxx
