Rescue List Help

Anyone want to help with some basic checks? I'm starting by running through visiting their website, checking they are still active i.e. look for a date they last updated it and and then checking the contact details are correct. Then I'll have a shorter list of ones that need emailing/calling to check.

E.g.

Friend of Animals League (FOAL) (update name to Foal Farm Animal Rescue)
Rspca Medway West Small Animal Centre (All correct)
Belgrave Bunnies Rabbit Rescue (Investigate further)

I haven't done...

Lanarkshire
Lancashire
Leicestershire
Lincolnshire

Post if you pick one so no one works on the same one!
 
With regards to the RSPCA branches for the West Midlands area, we (Walsall RSPCA) are still rehoming buns/pigs and all the details are correct. Birmingham RSPCA still rehome buns/pigs but all their details are incorrect as they've moved to a new centre - their details are Newbrook Farm, Frankley Green Lane, Frankley, B32 4AX. Tel 0300 123 8585. http://www.rspca.org.uk/local/birmingham-animal-centre. And Coventry RSPCA details are all still correct :)

The rabbit 'rescues' listed - are they meant to be reputable? There is one on there that is definitely not a rescue, grieves me to see her on there! I obviously realise it's hard to know if every rescue on there are rescues :(

The same list feeds Rabbit & Guinea Pig Rehome - it just has a note which they appear on. I thought I might as well check the couple that just do piggys too. I'll add it in :)

Oh right, I see. Hazelcroft is definitely on Guinea Pig Rehome, as that's where I found my two piggies.

Would you add my local rescue onto the list as I've just noticed it's not on? It's Bleakholt, they are a large, busy rescue centre and have lots of rabbits and some guinea pigs. Very reputable rescue :thumb:

Brilliant thanks :) I take it they are still rehoming rabbits? A few rescues seem to have stopped bunnies and just do cats/dogs.
 
Neither the Willows or the New Arc in Aberdeenshire generally Rehome rabbits any more.
The SSPCA at drumoak do, although they don't take in rabbits from people for rehoming, apparently only strays and rescues.
 
Farplace shouldn't be on there as they are generally known to be a horrendous "rescue" and actually very rarely rehome animals.

I don't believe Pixie Rabbit Rescue exist anymore.
