Hey there, just wondering if anyone can give me some advice?
Maisy, my mummy bunny was spayed a week ago and the vet said I can reintroduce her with her two boys I keep together but separated from the mum when they became fertile up until her operation, totalling just over a month apart. Now shes fixed but the boys are still pretty randy and keep mounting and chasing the mum, she seems to be tolerating it but im not sure how to handle the whole situation.
Ive still got them separated when im out but when Im home Ive been experimenting with putting them together, day one I let out all three together and both boys chased her and humped her so much I ended up taking them away, but I worked out that Rolo is the more dominant of the two. So day two I let out Dusty (the other boy) and Maisy and after a short while of chasing they were fine for the few hours they were out. Day three I tried the same with Rolo and they sort of went thru 20 minute or so cycles of lying together happily for a bit and then chasing.
No actual fights yet but how should I go about putting them all together? the boys are nearly 3 months old so I cud probably get them neutered when ive saved up the money but I was kind of hoping I could avoid it if anyone thinks thats possible?
I dunno I just need advice please!!!
thanks bunny fans,
