Hi so I recently got my nearly 2 year old rabbit spayed over a month ago but her behaviour has gone really bad before she was fine she just doesn’t like being picked up, but now after being spayed she is such a sweetheart in her cage and loves being pet and fed etc but as soon as she comes out to play she never does wants to be pet unless she flops, she starts digging the floor and bitting it, and if someone puts something near her she grunts and pounces at you, she also is going all under the sofas and demolishing blankets etc but this only happens when she comes out does anyone know why. I thought spaying was supposed to calm the rabbits down
 
She needs more time to settle down. Often there is a hormone spike after neutering, then things settle at a new normal level. She also sounds to be defending her territory - so maybe offer more permanent space. Rabbits shouldn't be shut in a cage. You could also look at getting her a companion rabbit (eg neutered male) once she is fully recovered from her spay. Rabbits usually prefer company of their own kind.

Spaying was a good decision, though - as an entire female, she was at high risk of various cancers.
