Rabbit death help

Hey guys, recently joined to get some advice. I've had my two rabbits agreas and lazlo for 2 years now, unfortunately agreas has just died (it wasnt a disease or illness), I saw online to give the other rabbit 3 hours alone with the body and so we did but I'm not sure how to go about cleaning their shed, do we keep bedding for scent or not. I will be spending a lot of time with lazlo now but advice will be very appreciated.
Thanks

Sorry for your loss. Is there any way you can move Lazlo inside so you can spend more time with him/her? I recently experienced a bereavement and just cleaned things up as and when, but I had had to put my bunny down due to a long-term issue so I knew there was nothing contagious. Do you know what caused Agreas to pass? Bunnies really love company so the more time you can spend with Lazlo now the better. In time you may want to consider adopting another but allow yourself time to grieve before making any decisions.

Hi, thanks for the response. We weren't sure whether it would be better to leave her out with the scent or if moving her in would cause more stress. Agreas passed due to an accident with a dog. We were planning to get lazlo spayed but will probably wait a bit now so getting a new friend may have to wait

Sorry to hear about what happened. Obviously I don't know the circumstances but if there's any risk of a dog getting near your remaining bun I would bring her indoors.

You know Lazlo best, my bunny was already indoors so I didn't have to make the decision but if I had a solo bun I would probably bring them indoors for the company. It would also help you monitor her after she is spayed.
