What breed is Howard? I keep thinking Papillon (my Copper is a Papillon) but then I'm thinking he looks more like long haired chi but with longer legs :lol:
Either way - he's gorgeous
That's Finnbar, my friends little pup! He's a (rather tall) Papillon. I think he's just over 6 months now.
Howard's a tricolour Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
Oh sorry got the names mixed up
He is lovely - and so tall!!! Copper was ex show stock because he grew too tall for the standard but he is still dwarfed by Finnbarr
(can you tell I have a soft spot for Papillons? I think it's those ears :lol
What gorgeous dogs, and such a beautiful location to walk them.
Howard is still so dinky!
Who is this enormous child who is clearly nearly 15 :shock: how do they get so big!!!
Loppy EArs - I don't 'train' copper as such. I don't really believe there is any need to train a dog - I just have a set of boundaries for him (no jumping on the sofa, let me through doors before him, make him wait calmly for his food, make him work for treats, sit before he goes outside/through a door and various others I do naturally and can't remember lol) and when he broke any of his set boundaries as a pup we would re-do the activity until he learnt to respect me. Now he respects me as soon as I walk through the door. All positive re-enforcement
He would take commands from strangers, but he won't take commands from my nan, or my mum as he knows there are no consequences if he doesn't and they just give up :roll:
Copper has fantastic ears!
:lol::lol::lol: He's four now....FOUR!!!:shock:
Oh my mistake then sorry, I thought you were using Cesar Millan's methods
