Hay dilema

definitely buy the hay. Hay is vital to their teeth, toy is just for fun. They also need the fiber from the hay too. Rabbit diet over the age of 1.5, should be 90% hay, as per Dr. Susan Brown research

Rabbits diets from the day they are totally weaned should be at least 90% hay, they need their diets to be as near to that which they would get in the wild.
 
If your rabbits eat the farm hay, keep to that, maybe buy a small amount of 'luxury' hay as a treat to mix in with it and spend the rest on hidey holes and toys.
