Hi all

I know you can feed your rabbits beetroot but not the leaves, but can rabbits eat beetroot raw or does it have to be cooked.

Don't cook the beetroot.

I feed the leaves too :wave:

RWAF says :

care with leafy tops as high levels of oxalic acid

I don't have that much beetroot so they only get it now and again.

Ok because I have an abundance in my garden beds so its going to be funny watching there faces go all red from the juice.

I got some freeze dried beetroot from Hay Experts. They love it. I sprinkle a bit in the hay to try to encourage them to eat more hay.... tried loads different hays. No luck yet.
