I am living and breathing bunny biscuits. I made 120 yesterday and its still not enough. I now need to make nearly 600 in total in the next week, think I have made around 400 so far :shock:

Its amazing to have so many orders and I am really not complaining but OMG....................................:lol:

I made three trayfuls of bunny treats last night ! I woke up this morning to a lovely smell of apple and flapjack, went downstairs to discover it was just the bunny biscuits !

My coffee grinder is a nightmare and my mom won't let me use the good one, so I put all the pellets in a bowl, shredded all my apple and carrot, added a splash of apple juice and mixed it. Left it a few hours and the pellets had gone soft, so I squidged them up a bit and they came out fab! Just a helpful tip for anyone who might need it! Then I added the porridge oats, flattened them out and scored ready for baking!

I soaked my pellets in water too, instead of grinding them. It only took about half an hour for them to soften. :thumb::D I smashed them up a bit with a hammer first but next time I'm just going to leave them whole and soak them for a bit longer.

Made my first batch! :)

I used pellets, apple, readigrass and apple juice. I tried smashing the pellets with a rolling pin, but all I got was sore arms. So I used a food processor. I think I made them a bit too thick though, so I don't think they dried out enough.

The buns approve! :thumb:

I had a go too today, i used 1 banana, half a carrot, a handful of parsley, some oats, some small bits of hay from the bottom of the bag and lots of ground nuggets. I also tried bashing them with a rolling pin, but it didn't really work, so i blasted them in the blender. I ovened them on 80 for 2 hours, they were pretty hard by the time they cooled, a few had a slightly soft middle, but the majority were fine. I did make them pretty thin though. I gave Hare, Roo and Oscar one each and they went down well, i don't think they even touched the sides!

I also added a bit of water too. oh, i also had to use a bit of flour on the worktop and my hands as the mixture was really sticky

Me and the buns have been baking some treats to sell at two rescue events in the next two weeks, with all the money going to them. These are all I've done so but there's alot more to come! The stars in the middle are carrot, apple and ground down oats. The others are hay, banana, oats and dried forage :)
