Thanks guys. Sandy is admitted and will remain there overnight. Tomorrow, when she is hopefully stronger, potentially they will do some diagnostics and a dental. they couldn't get a catheter into her because her veins are so scarred from dentals, so that's not great, so her fluids are being given sub cut.
No feeling overly confident; predominantly because she is being treated by a newly qualified vet and, whilst she does know and does ask for help when needed, it's very difficult entrusting that which you love to someone who, I'm relatively sure, knows less than me. Thankfully there are other vets around she can get advice from.
Poor old Roger is also there with her. Last thing he needed.
