Just wondered if it was ok to feed in large amounts? Is it fattening?

I feed mine loads and they are all very lean, they do have plenty of exercise mind you!

I used to give a largish handful a day and it didn't seem to have any ill effects.

Readigrass is high in calcium, therefore is not ideal for rabbits who have a tendency to bladder sludge or calculi. It is often better to mix in with normal hay if they eat large amounts of it to encourage them to eat other hays / grasses as well.

Thanks everyone. I will try not to feed too much as i once had a bun with bladder sludge who had to eventually be pts. I had never fed her readigrass tho so it wasnt linked but i dont want to risk it.
