I would not go with them, clipping is very distressing and I believe, can make the teeth split. It would only work on front teeth anyway. Sounds like they are very inexperienced with rabbits.
How should dentals be performed ?
I phoned again after readinG the advice from here.
They perform dentals a lot - they do have burrers etc which they'd use if the rabbit would need it for spurs etc.
And they would put the rabbit under GA if they needed it.
It depends how severe the teeth are.
What if I tell her to use GA and bur and not to clip. And give pain killers and fluids.
Will it be ok then ?
You can't tell a vet what to do like that...
You really confuse me sometimes

Lol !
I'm getting annoyed now
I need to find a rabbit savvy vet!
I'm going to be patient and talk to the Medivet's vet tomorrow.
Hoping he's ravvit enough!
Can oneone reccommend me a ravvit vet please in the middlesex area that's close to Hayes/Southall but not all the way in Twickenham?
Get to know the vets with your rabbit there, if you decide you dont like them then change the vets.
Thank you Jane,
What's the practice that is charging millions ?
Believe it or not I just bookmarked the pet's practice it's half an hour away by bus. And includes rabbits in their site !
I just need to phone them and ask questions.
