  • Please Note - Medical Advice

Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Please can he have vibes? U/D He's home!!

Loads of vibes for this little man.

Lots of good toothy vibes from here.

Well done for getting it all done, i know this must be difficult.

Everyone in my house is rooting for your little one! I'm sure he'll be fine, I know it's stressful though xx

Thanks everyone. :) No news yet Graham unfortunately. I'm still at school and the vets will ring my mum to update her. She said she'd text me if there's any news but I'm worrying that something bad might have happened and she's not told me. Hopefully no news is good news and I might hear from her at about half 2ish.

Brilliant news! :D I hope Mischief makes a good recovery. His friends and his mummy will be pleased to have him home.

Thanks Susie and Jenova. :)

HE'S HOME!! :D He looked so sweet when I went to collect him all snuggled up on the towels. I was worried that he wouldn't be eating but that was the leat of my worries!  They said he was having a food party, he ate all his veg, all the pellets I gave him and nearly all the hay that went with him. He's such a good bunny! :D He's pooing fine too. :)

He's now home and the first thing he did when he got in was jump straight on top of the food box begging. I did give him 2 pellets. He then started eating a bit of apple peeling as a treat, they hardly ever get it. It took him about 2 mins to eat one small piece but after that he was fine, jumping up for more! :D

He's doing so well. :) He has a check up tomorrow to make sure that everything is ok. He had to have his right eye flushed because he had some discharge coming from it but we have been given some eye drops for that so hopefully that will stop soon.

We also saw his teeth! omg they were incredibly long, we weren't allowed to bring them home but my mum took a pic on her phone so I will upload it when I get chance. :p

His mouth now no longer looks deformed in a pointy shape, it's just like it used to be. I'm so happy my baby boy is ok!! :D

He's a little fighter!

I think I still have Dexter's teeth, who now lives with my sister. They were huuuuge. He'll do so much better without them. :)
