Lord H- U/D 12th July - Another Seizure-- Severe :-(

Keeping you and Lord H in my thoughts, Jane. Healing vibes coming with all due speed. xxxxxxx

Topping up the vibes for Lord H. Do your furries have a rota to stress you out Jane? It seems like they are taking it in turns.

C thinks he has Epilepsy. He has had some 'absences' and now 2 seizures. He has been treated for EC, but C does not think EC is the issue. She wants me to keep a detailed diary to see if there is a pattern with the 'absences', seizures and what is going on just prior to them. Also, his exact daily diet. She does not want to start him on medication for Epilepsy yet, although this may be needed in the future. I have an emergency supply of Diazepam incase he has a seizure that will not stop.

I was in the process of adopting a Doe to be a companion for him. Obviously that wont be happening now

Oh no:cry: I'm so sorry. He couldn't be in better hands with you and C, I hope you can keep it under control xx

If he is epileptic, is there any kind of control treatment plan he can have? My cat Zara is on Phenobarb, but obviously I know this probably isn't the best "control" drug for a rabbit, being a pill and all.

I didn't even realise that rabbits could get Epilepsy :( Hopefully, C will be able to decide on a definite diagnosis so that if it is Epilepsy it can be controlled with medication.

I'm sorry Lord H's prognosis appears so dire, Jane. I can imagine how frightening this must be. My heart just fell at your update.
I really hope that C will be able to help him. I'm doubling my prayers and vibes for you both. I'm also sorry that your plans for a companion for him have had to change. :(
As always you're in my thoughts and I really hope things will improve soon. ((((((Huge hugs)))))) xxxxxxx

:( Poor him, and poor you.

Any chance this is a nerve endings thing caused by a progression/change of the dysautonomia? Or, would that actually cause epilepsy? Or a manifestation that looks the same? But potentially different cause?

Whatever it is, he certainly has more than his fair share of challenges. I hlope he picks up again soon.
