Lois is poorly/ sleep tight Lois

Lois was opened up this morning. They found an issue with her liver so we opted to pts

We have had a biopsy sent to the lab as we don't know what it is.

We had a case like this at work last week. Bunny had been off food and miserable, sat on her own fighting with partner, for 4 days. Once separated she still wasn't eating. We suggested recovery, fibreplex and tempting her with treats as there was nothing obviously wrong. There was no improvement and the O didn't want to put her through the stress of investigating so opted to pts.
I struggled with this decision, but having read this thread I guess sometimes the bun has other things physically wrong and pts is the most humane thing to do. It doesn't make it any easier for the person making that decision though!!
