  • Please Note - Medical Advice

Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Ginger.. not drinking :( UD: Normal service has returned.

Maybe she's ignored pellets cos they are dry and make her thristy. Maybe she'd be more tempted by some pellet mush?

We now know Ginger does NOT like soggy pellets.

Biscuit however, thinks its a banquet...

What a mess that made

However, the water bowl was nearly empty this morning

Ginger is currently tucking into a new litter tray of hay with some bramble leaves sprinkled and hidden inside.

She's very bright this morning and is running around a lot, has done some binkys and some bunny 500's up and down the stairs and even managed to attack the washing on the airers in my office

I think normal service has been resumed... :thumb: :D

Sorry Grayham but I had to laugh.
With us the consistency of the soggyness is critical. They have to be still pickable upable or Thumper chases them round for ever & most goes up his nose!

i hadnt made them 'soggy' as such. Just dipped in water so i could just about pick them up between my fingers. Do you think thats enough?

I remember mushing them when Biscuit was neutered to syringe, they were nothing like that or the recovery food they have.

Biccy just lapped them up, but kept standing on them as he took them from the plate. Then they were all squished into the carpet.

Thanks god for my Dyson
