He may have been. I forgot to ask but I know that vet has used that painkiller in the past.

If he was given it that could be why he 'looks sleepy'
Loads of vibes. Have you tried mashing up his pellets if he is in stasis. He may find it easier to eat them. We have a bunny in stasis at the moment and she is managing like this. She won't touch pellets that aren't soaked in warm water and she isn't a dental bunny. Hope that helps.

Unfortunatly Charlie is a very strange rabbit, he won't willingly eat anything remotely damp... Including almost all veg, herbs and fruit! So wet pellets were never an option for tempting him.
He has eaten more now He's currently nomming at a few strands of hay and he's had a few more pellets.
