Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

bisc is at the vets- test results-u/d-seems ok again

So happy to hear Bisc is improved after eliminating the parsley
It is a bit sad when they can't have some of their favorites, but I've found that there's usually something else they can have to take it's place. It's good to know he can still tolerate the basil. :)
Many snuggles from my loppy to your loppy. xxxx

bisc has been very bright today. :D

he's had thyme and basil for his tea so we'll see how he gets on.

there was two uneaten caecs this morning but i don't know why. hopefully just a one off as he definitely doesn't seem to have an off tummy or anything.

he had basil again yesterday and has been fine so far. it does make his urine slightly darker but he isn't uncomfortable when he's had it.

he's actually really bright at the minute. happy again :D

strange thing was though, he did another dodgy looking poop, uneaten caec again i think. but he doesn't seem to have a dodgy tum so hoping it's just one of those random things. :?

My three have on again off again leftover or mushy cecals. I sometimes find it's from a little too much vegetables/herbs. Two of them can't eat them at all. :(
Excess/unformed cecals are usually a caloric intake thing, aren't they? Or a sugary diet? Or is Bisc getting pellets perchance?

it could be if i've given just slightly too much for his tea. i noticed he left some thyme the day before yesterday so maybe i just did a bit too much. that would be all it would take to push his tum too far.

he has pro-fibre pellets but hasn't had more than normal or anything.

at least he seems happy anyway. binkies!

Always a good sign! :thumb:

I've just seen this don't know how I missed it

I'm glad Bisc's test's came back that he hasn't got e.cuniculi and I'm glad he is improving and I hope he continues
to improve.

I wonder if they know how much these bunnies worry us, I doubt it xxxxx

thank you :)

still got a bright mr bisc here so :D:D:D

so far so good on coriander, thyme and basil. will be giving basil less but not eliminating for now. no more parsley and we'll see how he goes.

no more dodgy caecs so far either and seems happy and bright. x

noserubs delivered to bisc, and lots of cuddles and kisses. couldn't resist!:love:

he's still bright. i would say the best he has been now since losing matt. he's happy again, into his new routines etc and doing really well. i am up because he was staring at me and every so often spinning on the spot to make sure i was still paying attention! and yes, i got up because he was too cute and i couldn't resist!:lol:

just so glad he's happy again. he doesn't seem lonely either so it gives us a bit more time to decide about a new friend without having to rush everything aswell.
