After much soul searching and advice from Cheryl (SGPrescue), I have reluctantly decided not to pursue the adoption of Scarlett in Essex:

The reasons being, I did not feel comfortable with the logistics and bonding process that this would have involved with the distances we'd have to travel and my current commitments. I have informed the rescue and offered to send them a small donation to make up for wasting their time.
I've been trying to get through to Martlesham to pursue the possibility of adopting one of the buns Sky-O posted about:

Finally got hold of someone today and we'll be going to take a look tomorrow. They are not ready yet, but should be soon, and I've not been homechecked yet so we'll see where this leads. Wish me luck!!
All the best
Jo
PS. Please please can someone adopt Scarlett, she deserves a good home too!!!
