My boy Archie has problems with molar spurs and an abscess, he's at the vets just now after having his teeth done (he just had them done 2 weeks ago) and they're keeping him in overnight as he not coming round well from the anesthetic
He usually comes from from the GA really well so now I'm seriously worried. Recently he's been acting strange, being happy one day then hardly moving and not eating the next. He is on pain relief and depocillin.
Due to the location of the abscess I'm told it can't be flushed, they won't go back in to remove it again and the only option regarding his teeth is removal of the molars. I can't put him through a GA every few weeks or so, the time between his dentals used to be around 2 months I'm so scared that I'm going to loose him now and the vet told me to start thinking about my options, which means pts.
Sorry for going on and only posting when I need help but could anyone tell me how successful molar removal is? Thanks
