I need an advice for beddings

Darina

New Kit
Hello!
I'm new to this forum, so please excuse my way of writing the post (and my English).
I have a bunny for 2 weeks and its litter is a big box full of hay. But I want to put some kind of bedding but finding a suitable one is pretty difficult for me since I can't find paper based in my country (Bulgaria). And if I try to order online from other countries or Amazon, it would be expensive for me and it will take a long time to get to my address.
For now, the only company I can order from is CHIPSI Carefresh but l have mixed feelings for it because I know some of their products are't so safe to animals. The exact product I've found (and think is okay) is the one in the hyperlink:

I would love to hear some feedback and if you can recommend me other beddings from CHIPSI which are safer, I'm all ears!

Thanks in advance!
(Here are some photos of my bunny - Ozzy Osbourne)

Hello, Ozzy Osbourne is very handsome ❤️ Will he be getting a Sharon Rabbit companion 😀

Carefresh cellulose bedding is fine to use 😀 I have not used anything similar to the other beddings sold on the site, some look to be rather hard to use as bedding but would be OK as a base in a litter tray with hay put on top.

I didn't mentioned it but my Ozzy is a female lol! But even so, loved the reference!
And I appreciate the reply and saying that the product I asked about turned out to be okay! ❤️🐇

I would just carry on with the hay. It's edible, natural, comfortable and won't get caught up in the fur like some other substrates might.

I get that! But I feel like my bunny doesn't eat as much hay as it should and my vet suggested it's because of using hay as its toilet (also, I think I throw away too much hay when i have to clean). That's why I will continue using hay and some kind of rabbit-friendly bedding AND start using hay bag.

First off, gotta say, your bunny is lucky to have such a caring owner looking out for their comfort. Bedding can be a bit of a tricky thing, but here's what I've found works best: I'd recommend going for a natural bedding option like hay or straw. They're comfy for your bunny to snuggle up in and are usually pretty absorbent too. Plus, they're easy to find and not too pricey, which is always a win! Just make sure to avoid any bedding that's too dusty or scented, as that can irritate your bunny's sensitive nose. And hey, if you're ever looking for more tips or supplies, you might wanna check out cheerfulbunny.com They've got some great stuff for bunny owners like us!

Mine have 32 litre underbed storage boxes lined with newspaper, straw and hay with posher hay in a magazine rack for them to eat. They also eat their litter tray hay!
