    Less stressful car trips

None of my rabbits have enjoyed car journeys. They all look horribly car sick (but being rabbits cant vomit). I used to take my first rabbit on weekends away quite regularly; he hated the car but was happy once he'd settled when we arrived. I take mine in a pet carrier that is large enough...

    Would this be ok?

Agree you dont need something that expensive ;) It's also nice to have the house/cage on the floor so that you can - when allowing free range time - just open the door and let your rabbit(s) hop in and out at will :D

Im so confused about my rabbit cage

That doesnt mean you're doing it wrong and all of those different answers could be right - it's just we all have different styles (and some rabbits are quite particular about their likes and dislikes too!) :D Is this an indoor cage or an outdoor cage? Mine live indoors and I started off with...

Please help! Rabbit not eating, I need a good Rabbit vet - Bolton.

Pennine Vets in Tottington have been great with my rabbits. I know My Pets' Vets in Leigh come highly recommended too.

Wont eat hay anymore - bone pain in jaw

Just an update.... Sooty was getting by just fine with acupuncture (which she loved - completely crashes out on my lap ) and no painkillers. She doesnt eat hay at all anymore, but manages just fine on SS pellets softened with water and veg chopped into smaller pieces. We're now...

Rabbit savvy vets in and around the Bolton area

I use Pennine Vets in Tottington. (My usual vets arent rabbit specialists so for anything out of the ordinary, they refer to me to Pennine Vets.) www.penninevets.co.uk

Advice for an indoor 2 bunny set up

Neither of mine have liked laminate either. I got a piece of vinyl (textured, not a smooth one) and put that down. You could try that if you want to move on from the fleece.

I've seen them and they are... ;) The giant babies are totally gorgeous though, beautiful happy bunnies.

    Indicators of being lonely/depressed.....

Yes, much like an ill bun. I was worried about Sooty after Muppet died (as she's never been on her own before) but, she's been fine. She's been ill too, when she hasnt been "fine" but when she's well she's full of 'bunniness'. But her behaviour has changed since she's been on her own, eg, she...

Does anyone let their rabbit free range in the garden supervised?

That's supervised to me - though in my case, it's going to the open door to check on them.

Does anyone let their rabbit free range in the garden supervised?

My house rabbits have always both had supervised free range time in the garden, all year round, whilst they've been with me. In winter it tends to be mornings only because it's too cold - for me - once it's dark. The garden is small, enclosed, mostly paved/gravelled with (empty) flower bed...

Would you have a bunny spayed if you couldn't get back to the vet?

No I wouldnt have a bunny spayed if I couldnt get back to the vets afterwards. Nor would I have a bunny spayed by a vet who clearly isnt happy/confident at doing the operation. As there's no particular rush to get them spayed, I would stop fretting and do it when you can :D Or there's a third...
