Jack has never been a huge hay eater since I rescued him and his brother last year, but loves his pellets. The last couple of days he's been leaving food and not as eager for meal times. He's still finishing the Burgess Excell pellets (though it takes him longer), Fibafirst sticks and geeens (leaving Natures Menu nuggets that he used to adore, and not touching hay where he used to nibble a bit), so I'm hoping it's not stasis. His eye was watering a bit a couple of days ago, which I read can point to teeth problems?
We're seeing a vet this morning - a small animal one, rather than the exotics vet as he isn't in till monday, and I didn't want to wait. Hopefully this vet will be competent enough, and maybe my boy will just need a dental? Any advice if this is the case? Do buns need to be knocked out for it? Vibes for us please, I hate seeing my little lad not eating.
