    Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Rabbit with white eye.

I am heartbroken to say Oscar lost his life last Thursday.
Our vet was going to refer Oscar to the 'rabbit savvy' vet recommended but that day his eye ruptured and he was in considerable pain.
It was only fair to operate on the eye immediately to remove it. Sadly he never woke up from the anesthetic.
Our own vet didn't seem overly competent at the beginning but they were good at the end.
He was such a special boy and I am devastated.

Thank you for all your well wishes while he was so poorly, I know you will feel sorry to know he has gone.
